Two Python scripts I wrote in 2023 to speed up applying for internships on Glassdoor. The scraper worked, the autofiller never did.

Why I wrote it
I was applying to aerospace and robotics internships and got tired of typing the same info into every Glassdoor application, so I tried to script around it.

What the two scripts do
One script scrapes a Glassdoor search page for the Easy Apply listings and saves the links to a text file, and the other opens each link in Chrome, asks me yes or no in the terminal, and clicks Easy Apply through a hardcoded, thirteen-level XPath if I say yes.
Sheet 04 of 08/Autofill
The autofill never worked
The autofill function, auto_filler(), has its whole body commented out except for a print statement, so it never actually fills in a single field.
Sheet 05 of 08/The bug
A one-character bug I did not catch
The scraper has a one-character bug: the line meant to count each job reads i=+1 instead of i+=1, so every job in the 651-line output file is labeled Job Number: 1.
Sheet 06 of 08/Next time
What I would do differently
It has had two commits, April and September 2023, and I have not touched it since, and if I ever did the first thing I would do is take my personal info out of the script.
